Some call it dedication
I call it self medication
I strap my consciouness tight
Tap the vein on my soul
Pluck the needle
Then inject melodies & harmonies,
rhythms & lyrics
I let the euphoric feeling of sound carry me away to cloud nine.
I need to escape my reality.
And when I am as high as a kite I never want to come down,
I dont want my feet to return to the ground
But crashing down I come when the song is over
Then I return to my playlist, or troll Youtube or Spotify or Pandora for another hit
