Thinks the powers that be really need to read Plato’s The Republic to understand why arts education is so important for the emotional development of our youth. Its not about necessarily becoming a star or creating masterpieces, but connecting them with beauty so when the dark days come they will be able to seek out the beauty they temporarily dont see and fight to live another day.
